Goals, resolutions, vows of success...
Dates: January 7th-20th, 2008
Instructors: Tawny Weber & Beth Andrews
Cost: FREE to FTHRW
members; $15.00 for all others
Registration Deadline: January 2, 2008
Course Description:
Goals, resolutions, vows of success...
(ie: snag an agent, make that first sale, make that tenth
sale, hit the big lists)
How can we use these things to further our career? How can
we make them work? Learn how to set realistic, doable goals,
how to break them down into achievable chunks, and how to
supplement them with things like visualizations, affirmations
and dream boards so they become not just wishes, but realities.
Together, we'll all take a goal and break it down into the
necessary steps needed to achieve it. We'll look at alternate
paths, backup plans, and how to recognize fear of success.
This workshop will ask the participants to take a look at
their surroundings, their support group and see how they work
into the goals... or if they work against them. We'll also
explore some fabulous tools to help keep a positive mind-set
and to energetically/subliminally bring ourselves into the
right place at the right time.
About the Instructors:
Three time Golden Heart finalist, Tawny Weber is usually
found dreaming up stories in her California home, surrounded
by dogs, cats and kids. When shes not writing hot, spicy
stories for Harlequin Blaze, shes testing her latest
margarita recipe, shopping for the perfect pair of boots or
drooling over Johnny Depp pictures (when her husband isnt
looking, of course). Tawny also spends a lot of time scrapbooking
and playing in the garden. Her debut release, DOUBLE DARE,
was out in May 2007. Her latest book, DOES SHE DARE? is a
January 2008 Blaze. Shed love to hear from readers,
so drop by her home on the web: www.TawnyWeber.com
Beth Andrews achieved her goal of becoming a published author
when she sold her 2007 Golden Heart winning manuscript to
Harlequin Superromance. Her debut title, NOT WITHOUT HER FAMILY,
will be released in June 2008. When Beth's not writing emotionally
intense romantic suspense (laced with a hint of snark) she
can be found stringing pretty beads together which she calls
jewelry. She lives in Northwestern Pennsylvania with her husband
and three children.
